Laura draws on more than 20 years of experience in B2B product marketing, strategy, sales and marketing communications to her role at Firebrick. She has developed and executed go-to-market and product strategies for some of the most successful B2B applications, IOT, and cloud infrastructure service companies.
She brings a buyer-centric orientation and a unique genius of buyer empathy to create fresh, differentiated, purposeful positioning narratives that accelerate sales cycles and build substantial market valuation. Laura thrives on the challenge of transforming a company’s product and features into valuable executive-level business stories that matter.
Early in her career, Laura was trained as a Systems Engineer and Sales Rep for IBM where she learned the impact of game-changing positioning and marketing on sales cycles. Later at SGI, she developed and marketed the company’s first interactive customer service communication application which drove greater customer satisfaction and loyalty while reducing costs. Laura also worked at category-creator, Calico Commerce, where spearheaded the positioning strategy that served as the foundation for the company’s IPO messaging and driving the company’s acquisition by Peoplesoft.
Laura has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Hailing from Chicago, she still cheers for her favorite baseball team the Chicago Cubs and never misses a chance to see them play the Giants.Prev Bio Next Bio
