Michelle has worked across the technology industry to shape market segments, scale revenue and create differentiation strategies with products and services spanning sectors including digital media, infrastructure, mobile, health-tech, ecommerce and workforce management. She has a unique genius for crafting narratives that wake up the market, deeply resonate with buyers and help tech companies separate from the noise.
Prior to Firebrick, she had a proven track record as a strategic marketing advisor and results-oriented catalyst for scaling B2B tech companies during pivitol periods in their growth trajectories – from initial launch through international expansion, M&A and IPO. As an independent consultant, Michelle has served as an interim CMO for companies including Tenor (acquired by Google), MyHealthTeams (backed by CVS Health) and Thinknear (owned by Telenav). Prior to her consulting career, Michelle was managing director for the Horn Group, a renowned Silicon Valley corporate communications firm and held marketing executive roles at Chegg, Metacafe, Disney and Edelman.
Michelle is active in the community and serves as a board member for “Help A Mother Out,” a nationally recognized Bay Area nonprofit. She holds a BA in English from the University of Notre Dame. On the weekends, you’ll find Michelle exploring one of the many hiking trails across the Bay Area, in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe, or adventuring with her family.
